Back then, there was a software known as iPhony. It attempted to imitate the design of an iPhone for the Palm OS. However, while the design was cool, it lacked practical usability. Recently, however, a new application known as iPhoneImitation has been released. It combines the coolness of the iPhone home screen design with a practical engine that can function as a Palm base launcher.
The iPhoneImitation can be set as the default launcher so that whenever the home screen button is pressed, the iPhoneImitation launcher automatically starts. In addition to the various launch buttons, this emulator also sports a side panel for media playback control. Combine this with the Palm OS and you get a practical Palm-iPhone emulator. Best of all, it’s completely free!

Like its name, FileZ is a file management program for the Palm OS that goes beyond just processing data. It has a supercharged data management system with functionalities including:
As many Palm OS users have experienced before, corruption error and crashes may occur from improperly deleted Preference Database entries after uninstalls. With FileZ, the creator IDs of all the databases are listed and therefore can be used to search for Orphaned Databases, those without creator IDs. When such entries are deleted, the chances for database corruption and error is greatly reduced. In one sense, FileZ is like an Explorer/Registry Editor for the Palm OS. Best of all, FileZ is Free!

And so like many other blogs around the Internet, we are also celebrating the new year! And also like every other speech out there, we could say how we will “await a fantastic new year” or how it’s time “for a new era of humanity” or any other cliché and pompous phrase. However, we’re realistic and we’re multicultural (which, by the way, has nothing to do with anything) and thus are just going to say something more contemporary and realistic.
First all, we’d like to announce that Feed Elite is of course expanding and we will be covering many more areas in our amazing posts of expertise. There’s will be new articles regarding productivity not just in the Microsoft Windows OS environment, but also in other fields such as Mac OS X, Linux, and even Palm OS! In addition, we will try our best to publish more resources regarding benefits to our actual non-virtual lives. Isn’t that something? We trying not to be like the Tech-Blog-Next-Door…
In the mean time, people are pissed off (I mean angry at) Apple’s BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) icon for a Windows PC, Global Warming is ever becoming a problem while Global Ice Age also is occurring, everyone’s all wrapped up in the new “Green” Movement while our industries are expanding more than ever, and oh so much more issues.
Also, did I forget to mention that 2008 brings the XXIX Olympics at Beijing, China! Because the Chinese people like the number 8 (8 in Chinese is phonetically similar to the character of “Prosper” or more like “Cash-in”), they’ve decided to start the games at 8-08-2008. Oh! Can you just imagine the amount of young lovers waiting to get married that day.
Anyways, happy new year and shall we bid farewell to 2007 and welcome 2008 with our hearts and minds open.
