As previously mentioned, Adam Sporka has created very useful carry-on mini calendars. They encompass full years for 2007 and 2008. In fact, the 2008 edition was just released yesterday. These are great for your wallet and anywhere portable!

Adam Sporka, who is behind many creative works including portable, mini metro maps, recently released something very cool: Mini Printable Thumb Calendars.
These calendars can be downloaded and printed out to form business card sized reference guides. Their tiny size allows them to fit almost anywhere and yet they contain full monthly, weekly, and daily information of a complete year. The printed version for 2007 can be folded in half to account for the full year or simply double side printed to create single sheet cards. Currently, only 2007 has an official PDF with trimming instructions. However, the 2008 version most likely will be soon released. These pieces are very cool, sophisticated emergency cards.
Instructions:
First half of the year is on one side of the card, the rest of the year is on the other. The field of numbers is shared among the six months on each side. The header of each month is appropriately aligned to show the actual days of the week. Find the month you want to read. Use your thumbs to cover the numbers that are not directly below the month header. Note the color of the month header. The last day of the month is rendered in the same color.
