Firefox 3, code named Gran Paradiso, has now released its first BETA, not ALPHA versions. This testing browser is available cross-platform for Windows, Mac, and Linux users. New features include:

However, remember, this is a BETA version. Although it is a bit more stable than the previous ALPHA versions of Firefox 3 Gran Paradiso, it still tends to be cranky. Therefore, don’t be surprised if Gran Paradiso is unstable or randomly crashes/freezes.

By combining GrandCentral and Gizmo Project together, you can now send/dial and receive calls from your computer for absolutely free. These phone calls can also be sent anomalously from your PC! AllPeers is an excellent free Mozilla Firefox extension tool for file sharing and chatting. It utilizes the fast BitTorrent network to facilitate its quick file sharing. However, unlike tradition torrent engines, All Peers DOES NOT require any ports to be opened to adjust the transferring speed. In addition, it requires no other downloads except for the Firefox add-on web application. Thus, AllPeers can also be incorporated as a portable file transferring application if installed on Firefox Portable. Forget email, BitTorrent, and instant messaging applications; you won’t find a better program than this. It works within the Firefox browser (an Internet Explorer version is not yet available) and thus requires no other external software. Finally, this is what you’ve been waiting for: a web browser that allows you to surf the net in 3D style! Here comes SpaceTime, the 3D Web Browser! This application is basically a program that allows users to browse through the internet by displaying multiple web pages or search in a row, lining into the “horizon” of the browser. Users could then “flip” through the web pages/searches by using different navigation tools. In addition to flipping, the arrow keys can be used to navigate through the internet sky terrain! A certain web page could be displayed fully by double clicking on the cached page image in the row. I suspect that SpaceTime uses an Internet Explorer base for its browsing powers because I received some pop ups from annoying sites in IE mode. Anyways, SpaceTime is in BETA and is all FREE! The oh-so-famous Joox is now mentioned here. Joox.net is basically a web site that hosts the most popular current DivX movies; movies as in movies that may still be in the theaters or high quality DVD movies.
